Jennifer Crossley
440 466 4831 ext. 4006With 30 years in education, including 17 years as an athletic director and 11 years as a coach, Jennifer Crossley has dedicated her career to developing successful athletic programs while fostering excellence in education. Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing student-athletes with opportunities to excel academically, athletically, and personally while emphasizing leadership, integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork. A former collegiate student-athlete, Crossley played softball at Youngstown State University, where she developed the competitive spirit and leadership skills that continue to shape her philosophy of athletic administration. Crossley earned a bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in Sports Administration Studies from Kent State University. Throughout her career, she has served students and communities at Ashtabula Area City Schools and Geneva Area City Schools, gaining extensive experience as a teacher, coach, and athletic administrator. As Athletic Director, Crossley provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of the school's athletic program, collaborating with coaches, student-athletes, families, and the community to create a culture of excellence and opportunity. Her focus is on ensuring every student-athlete has a positive educational and athletic experience while preparing them for success beyond high school. Her dedication to athletic leadership has been recognized through several prestigious honors, including the Bruce Brown Award of Excellence, the Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (OIAAA) Athletic Director of the Year Award, the Northeast Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NEOIAAA) Athletic Director of the Year Award, and the Tim Flannery Horizon Award. -
Athletic Trainer
Deanna Graber M.Ed., AT, CSCS
440 465 6817Dee is a Senior Athletic Trainer at University Hospitals and has been the athletic trainer at Geneva High School for 12 years. Dee graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in 2012 with a degree double-majoring in Athletic Training and Exercise Science. While earning her Master of Education in Exercise Science from Cleveland State University (2014), she gained hands on clinical experience as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Cleveland Clinic and worked as a certified strength and conditioning specialist and group fitness instructor at the YMCA. She has been a BOC certified and Ohio Licensed Athletic Trainer(AT) since 2012, as well as a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist(CSCS). Dee is dedicated to bettering the lives of others and being a part of something bigger. Dee brings a lifelong passion for sports and wellness to Geneva's athletic program. Having competed in soccer, track and field (pole vaulting), swimming and diving and racquet ball, she knows firsthand what it takes to support a student athlete. Her natural competitive spirit and love for teamwork also drew her to the CrossFit community in 2013. She continues to bring that same energy to keeping Geneva's athletes healthy, safe and performing at their best. -
